Parts Manager

Loving Auto Group is looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Parts Manager to join our team in Lufkin, Texas. We are seeking a leader who understands the importance of an efficient, profitable parts operation and who can build strong relationships with technicians, service advisors, vendors, and customers.

As Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily parts department operations, maintaining accurate inventory, developing your team, and ensuring the service department has the parts needed to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the dealership parts department.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop parts department employees.
• Oversee parts purchasing, inventory management, stocking, and distribution.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing obsolete and excess inventory.
• Monitor parts department profitability, sales performance, and operating expenses.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM and aftermarket parts vendors.
• Ensure accurate and timely parts ordering for the service, wholesale, and retail operations.
• Partner with the Service Manager and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and technician productivity.
• Monitor special-order parts, returns, cores, and warranty parts processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and applicable regulations.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Monitor department performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive dealership parts department.
• Parts management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory management, and ordering processes.
• Experience with dealership parts management and DMS systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with service technicians, advisors, management, and customers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
